Single-year contract (renewable up to the end of March 2025, depending on results)

5. research (duties)
Experimental studies on ion-molecule collisions (merged beam experiments, ion traps, Stark molecular velocity filters, ion transfer tubes, etc.) related to the planned research of the A04 Gas Phase Experiments Group "Understanding Elementary Processes of Gas Phase Chemical Reactions by Advanced Beam Control" (PI: Yuji Nakano).

6. qualifications
Applicants should have a doctoral degree or be expected to obtain it by the time of appointment.
Experience in handling vacuum equipment, development of experimental equipment, and experiments related to physical chemistry and atomic and molecular physics is desirable, but not required.
