[Press Release] Precise Nanospectroscopy of Single Molecules - Establishment of a method to accurately evaluate the properties of nanomaterials under observation

Yu Imada, Yousoo Kim, and their colleagues in the Surface Science Group have established a precise nano-spectroscopy method to directly measure the properties of nanomaterials observed with a microscope with atomic resolution by using light localized in the nanometer size region. The results of this research are expected to be used for the efficient use of energy. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the elucidation of the mechanisms of energy conversion and material conversion that occur in nanoscale molecular systems for the efficient use of energy.
